Aliivibrio

Aliivibrio fischeri is a bioluminescent bacterium. It often lives in symbiosis with animals such as squid, providing them with light-generating organs. An Allivibrio only produces light when gathered in a sufficiently large group: the mechanism they use to sense they are in a group is called "quorum sensing".

Allivibrio (he/him) is a non-bioluminescent human being who sometimes creates games and music, most often in proximity to a sufficiently large group of other creative humans. Left to his own devices he would probably just watch too much Doctor Who and read great big books with maps in the front.
