Why should a brand new settlement on dwarf planet Ceres have mysterious noises in the night?

Use arrow keys to move (or try to..) and walk into things & people to interact with them.

Made with the Bitsy Game Maker by Adam Le Doux  (https://ledoux.itch.io/bitsy); Image to Bitsy by ruin (https://ruin.itch.io/image-to-bitsy) was also used. The cover image contains a detail from the cover illustration to Christina Rossetti's Goblin Market, by Dante Gabriel Rossetti., and a NASA JPL images of Ceres taken by the Dawn spacecraft. Music by me. Done for the Goblins Bitsy Jam (https://itch.io/jam/goblins-bitsy) October/November 2020. The story will hopefully continue beyond this initial episode, which is all that I scoped to finish for the jam.

This was very fun and interesting. The lore was incredibly gripping and it was very fun to explore around the colony and do little tasks. It felt like early Final Fantasy games.

I also forgot there could be goblins until the game was almost over and got very scared but the twist there shook me.

Thank you so much for playing, and your kind words! I actually spent a couple of hours thinking about more puzzles, but ultimately I privileged finishing that first segment of the story instead.

This game was much more comprehensive than most that I've been playing and had  much more interesting story line where as some didn't have any story at all, 10/10

Wow, thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully I will continue the storyline at some point, whether in Bitsy or some other format.
